Application
This is the device converting three phase power current into single phase intermediate frequency current and enabling metal to produce eddy current loss through electromagnetic field induction to achieve heating and melting and is applicable to melting, heating or holding of steel, copper, aluminum, zinc, tin, nickel silver and other ferrous or nonferrous metal and alloy material, as well as heating treatment prior to forging, sintering and tube-bending forming in casting and melting industries.
How the furnace working? The intermediate frequency melting furnace is mainly composed of a power supply, an furnace body with a induction coil and a crucible. Iron will be put in the crucible built with refractory materials. The metal is put in the crucible. After the AC power is turned on, an alternating magnetic field is generated in the induction coil. Being cut by the magnetic line of force , the metal material generates an induced electromotive force, and it creates a induced eddy current to heat and melt iron.
Aluminum shell furnace features
- Long working life. Furnace is made of aluminum and magnesium alloy materials, consisting of two pieces of aluminum shells and asbestos board, insulating board and stainless copper wire rod. It is durable to use for a long time.
- Safety. The actual capacity of the furnace is greater than the rated capacity, and the furnace is designed in a good safety factor. So the furnace is stronger, can work smoothly when the maximum load.
- Tilting convinenently . the furnace body is easy to turn over for pouring metal, and you could pouring metal through electric control or manual control.The tilt angle is 95 degrees at vertical.
- Good quality reducer. RZS type reducer is a special reducer, mainly used for induction furnace. The reducer has the advantages of small size, large speed ratio, self-locking transmission and low noise.
- Good quality induction coil. Made of high-quality TUI oxygen-free copper of medium-alloy copper. The coil joint is made of high-silver welding, with high electrical conductivity and loss. Small, ensuring the best inter-turn insulation material, high insulation and high electrothermal efficiency.
