ALUMINIUM MELTING FURNACE
Working principle: The intermediate frequency melting furnace is mainly composed of a power supply, an furnace body with a induction coil and a crucible. Aluminum will be put in the crucible built with refractory materials. The metal is put in the crucible. After the AC power is turned on, an alternating magnetic field is generated in the induction coil. Being cut by the magnetic line of force , the metal material generates an induced electromotive force, and it creates a induced eddy current to heat and melt aluminum.
Advantages of induction melting furnace:
- Low energy consumption. Induction melting is the most energy-saving melting method among electric melting furnaces. It save 31.5% to 54.3% energy than oil furnaces, and save 5% to 40% energy than gas furnaces.
- Less oxidation decarburization and less burning loss. Induction furnace heat so fast, so it cause very little oxidation.During melting, IF induction furnace can save at least 20-50 kilograms of steel raw materials per ton, compared with the gas, oil or coal-fired furnaces.
- It can reduce the rate of unqualified products by 1.5%. Its self-stirring function can make metal temperature and composition to be uniform. The application of a temperature control system can achieve precise temperature control to ensure the quality and capacity.
- Good start-up performance, no need for professional workers to burn and seal the furnace in advance, and 100% start-up can be achieved for both empty and full furnaces. Fast heating speed, fast smelting speed, high production efficiency,
- No pollution, improving workers' working environment and company image. During working, there is no harmful gases and bright light created by furnaces, and workers will no longer be roasted and smoked by the coal stove under the scorching sun.
