Water-cooled Reactor of IF Induction Melting Furnace
1.Introduction
The intermediate frequency induction furnace water-cooled reactor is the main component of the intermediate frequency furnace specially designed and manufactured by Foshan Hengyang Furnace Manufacturing Co., Ltd. It is also the key component of filtering and smoothing on the intermediate frequency furnace.The water-cooled smoothing reactor is used in the rectification circuit of the intermediate frequency power supply to suppress the ripple and pulsation components after rectification to keep the rectified current continuous, improve the output DC waveform, ensure the normal operation of the DC equipment, and improve the input power factor.
2.Made of
It is composed of silicon steel sheet, reactor coil, etc.
a. The reactor is a single-phase structure, all of which are iron core type.
b. The iron core is made of high-quality and low-loss 35-230 cold-rolled silicon steel sheet, and the pillar is divided into uniform small sections by multiple air gaps. No change occurs during operation without sound.
c. The coil is made of high-quality T2 rectangular copper tube and runs in water cooling mode, which has better heat dissipation effect.
d. After the coil of the reactor is completed, it goes through the process of pre-baking→vacuum dipping→heat-baking curing. The use of H-class diffuse paint makes the coil of the reactor have a very high heat resistance level, which can ensure that the reactor can operate safely without noise at high temperatures.
e. The core part of the reactor is made of 304L stainless steel without basic material, which ensures that the reactor has a lower temperature rise.
f. The exposed parts are treated with anti-corrosion treatment, and the lead-out terminals are made of tinned copper bars.
3.Applied to
It is mainly used for intermediate frequency smelting, heating, diathermy, bending and local, modulation heating, rolling heating and anti-corrosion matching of pipeline heating.
4.Need to be used under following conditions
a. The altitude does not exceed 1000 meters.
b. The operating ambient temperature is -5ºC~+40ºC, and the relative humidity does not exceed 90%.
c. There is no harmful gas around, no flammable and explosive materials.
d. There is no gas and conductive dust enough to corrode metal and destroy insulation. No severe vibrations and bumps.
e. Indoor use.
5. Water requirements for cooling based on the following conditions
a.The total solid content does not exceed 250mg/L.
b. The temperature is: the highest +35ºC, the lowest +5ºC.
c. The hardness is not more than 10 degrees (each degree is 10 mgL calcium chloride in 1L water).
d. The pH value is in the range of 6~9.
e. Water inlet pressure 200~300KPa.
6.Performance parameters
a. It can be used for rectification systems of various voltage levels below 1000V
b. The rated insulation level is 3kV/min,
c The temperature rise limit of each part of the reactor: the money core does not exceed 85K, and the electric coil temperature rise does not exceed 95K
d. The reactor noise is not more than 45dB.
e. The reactor can run for a long time under the rated DC current and pulsating component.
f. Temperature resistance class H (180ºC) or higher.

Technical Support
1) Equipment design
Furnace will be customized to meet your production needing and environmental condition (maximum ambient temperate, humidity, altitude,etc).
2) Drawings delivery
Technical drawing will be send to the buyer after geting the deposite, so the buyer can build basic contruction before the furnace arrived.
3) Acceptance check before delivery
a. The supply of the inspection equipment complies with the scope of supply and technical specifications in the technical agreement.
b. Check the mechanical actions of the equipment.
c. Safety interlock of equipment and alarm function test.
4) Installation & debugging & worker training
a. Cooperate with guidance to check the buyer installation work;
b. Internal and electrical wiring connections between equipment;
c. Site commissioning;, according to the actual equipment adjust to the best state;
d. Direct buyer operating personnel to the correct use of operating equipment;
e. Guidance on site security considerations;
f. To guide the buyer maintenance personnel troubleshooting methods;
g. Provide equipment specification;
