Working principle: The intermediate frequency melting furnace is mainly composed of a power supply, an furnace body with a induction coil and a crucible. Melting metal will be put in the crucible built with refractory materials. The metal is put in the crucible. After the AC power is turned on, an alternating magnetic field is generated in the induction coil. Being cut by the magnetic line of force , the metal material generates an induced electromotive force, and it creates a induced eddy current to heat and melt metal. During the heating and melting process, the temperature of the induction coil keep same as the surrounding temperature, and there is no harmful gases and bright light to pollute the environment. Melting speed can be controlled by adjusting the frequency and current through the power cabinet.

The oxidation burning loss of intermediate frequency heating is only 0.5%, and the oxidation burning loss of gas furnace heating is 2%. The coal-fired furnace reaches 3%. In that case, during forging, IF induction furnace can save at least 20-50 kilograms of steel raw materials per ton. compared with the coal-fired furnace.
4. It can reduce the rate of unqualified products by 1.5% and increase the output capacity by 10% to 30%. It has a self-stirring function and make metal temperature and composition to be uniform. The application of a temperature control system can achieve precise temperature control to ensure the quality and capacity.
